Opioid Prescription & Expectations
America has been in an opioid crisis for 20 years. This means now there are folks with chronic pain having a harder and harder time finding a provider who will prescribe and folks who are now addicted to pain medication.
All Medical Visits are TELEHEALTH
except initial and yearly Physical which is in the office, as to listen to your heart, lungs, etc.

No Insurance.

$200 per appointment.

Expedited/ After hour visit - $40 fee. This should not be needed as you will be scheduled regularly.

Urine drug screens are to be completed at Quest Labs - you will schedule yourself. If you have insurance, use it for this.

This clinic may prescribe you pain medication
-If it is safe and makes sense for your condition.
-If you live in Oregon
-If you continue to work to decrease your dosage
-This office will NOT prescribe over 45MME ever: 40mg hydrocodone, 30mg oxycodone, 16mg buprenorphine or suboxone.
-This office will NOT prescribe to anyone on another controlled medication, including xanax or adderall.
-You are required to have an initial and yearly physical.

Compliance Monitoring is required.
-Urine drug screens will prove what you are and are not taking.
-New patients will start with an initial physical and an appointment & drug screen every 1-2 weeks. There is a gradual progression to monthly appointments and 3 yearly urine drug screens.
*Of note:
-After 6 months, these appointments can be quick as to not disturb your day.
-If a relapse or "loss of pills" happens you will go back to weekly instead of being discharged.
-If you are on a LOW dose <10mmg or 2-4mg buprenorphine, you have more options.
